WITH reference to Picasso's visit to England in 1950 (Letters, 3 April), the painter Duncan Grant told me the following. During Picasso's stay, Roland Penrose (one of the ICA's founders) phoned to say that he had Picasso with him and should he bring him over. Vanessa Bell replied: 'Thank you but we have someone coming for tea.'
