REGARDING 'Name game' (Letters, 14 August), as a gesture of support for the women's movement, my husband changed his surname to mine three years after we married. Some comic moments did arise: a building society clerk was bemused to hear my huband, unable to remember who he'd informed, ask me as he completed an application form 'What's my name?'
