The producers of Camp Christmas are being over-sensitive when they accuse Robin Buss of homophobia in his preview of their programme (Letters, 2 January 1994). This gay man was looking forward to something different from the usual seasonal broadcasting; all I got was a yawn-inspiring update of a Perry Como show. Quentin Crisp on Christmas Day was no better, as he told us for the umpteenth time that we should all emigrate to New York. Please, Channel 4, bring back the imaginative approach of Out.
