CHRISTOPHER HUHNE discussed the lack of scientific and technical provision in the English education system ('England at the back of the class', Business, 28 March). He also mentioned the arts bias of the 'English elite'. The Review contained four pages on Philip Larkin, three pages about V S Naipaul, six pages of book reviews and five-and-a-half on the arts. It had one page headed science.
