HAVING been a regular traveller on the Dartford Loop some 25 years ago, I can appreciate Richard Overton's desire for change ('To Hell and back'). Now he has achieved a quality of life for himself in Ryde, has he considered the quality of life of his sleeping neighbours as he starts his car each morning at 5.20am to drive the ludicrously short distance to Ryde pierhead?
