AS A self-diagnosed CD purchasing addict, I must take issue with Debbie Cameron (Letters, 4 October). Once hooked on high- quality sound one tends to buy CDs in moments of rash frivolity and worry about the cost later. David Mellor would either have been enterprising enough to purchase some at a discounted price from one of the stores recommended by Jack Hughes, or careless enough to accept some as free gifts.
