AT THE end of your report ('UK Jews fight dwindling faith', 1 May) you quote me as saying that it was 'not a Jewish tradition to believe in miracles'. Given our history and experience as a people, it would be just plain unscientific not to believe in miracles. Of course we believe in miracles. What I said was that we don't believe in relying on them.
