IT was not MIND that sprang from Marjorie Wallace's experience at a funeral of a man who had been mentally ill, but SANE ("Could we care any less", Real Life, 21 January). As chief executive of SANE, Ms Wallace has campaigned for a moratorium on bed closures. It is our belief that MIND favours closing psychiatric hospitals.
