Letter: A novel idea

IN HIS comic strip 'Logorrhoea', Martin Rowson must not be allowed to let Pete the Dog walk away into the sunset. I cannot be your only reader who looks forward avidly to each week's instalment. The dreadful puns; the literary allusions; the book trade jokes . . . you must not deprive us of them. Apart from anything else (as last Sunday's episode says) Pete has yet to produce his novel.

Every dog has at least one book in him; bring this dog back, at least until his book is remaindered - please.
