Sir: When the ship carrying St Paul was drifting towards Malta's rugged coast, St Luke tells us that, fearing they might be cast ashore, the crew 'dropped four anchors from the stern and prayed for daylight to come' (Acts ch 27, v 29 NEB). Unless the depth was too great, I wonder why the Braer didn't drop her bow anchors and pray for the tug to come.
