IF, AS YOU report, American anti-abortionists intend to continue their campaign against family planning clinics ('US militants lead battle against abortions', 4 April), then they will increase the potential for abortions in this country.

Family planning clinics here do not carry out abortions but provide contraceptive advice and counselling (including pro-life options) to women who are unwillingly pregnant.
