Sir: I was extremely surprised to watch the Labour Party broadcast by Hilary Armstrong MP on Channel 4 this evening at 19.55 hours - a full hour before the polling stations closed for the Scottish local government elections. Surely this was just as bad as the BBC trying to broadcast the interview with the Prime Minister three days before the elections? Is Channel 4 so parochial that it did not consider the position north of the border?
