MUSLIMS object to 'Darwin's views' because of 'his loss of belief' (Letters, 11 April). If this attitude affects the teaching of biology (or any other subject) in religious schools, then it is right that they shouldn't be given public money. The hypotheses of Darwin should be judged not according to the Koran or the Bible, but according to the evidence of the facts and our reason.
