Sir: The Easter message from Bosnia-Herzegovina ('56 die in worst Serbian bombardment of Srebrenica', 13 April) appears to be a continuance of the slaughter of Muslims by Christians. Is this latest atrocity a manifestation of the religious enjoinder 'Onward Christian soldiers'? I and many of my Muslim brothers believe it is.
That in itself is a cause for fear; but what is perhaps more frightening is the apparent complicity of the 'nominally' Christian governments of Western Europe. Fear one can live with. The sickness and grief that I feel when I read of these horrors I can hardly bear. Why must my brothers and sisters die without dignity?
Yours respectfully,
