Sir: Neither my husband nor myself play the lottery and have no intention of playing, ever.
Therefore, after reading today's front-page story on "Lottery mania unites the nation" (6 January) and being informed that "nearly every adult in the land has bought a ticket", I wonder if, perhaps, we qualify for an entry into the Guinness Book of Records?
