Sir: The loudest 'tennis grunt' should be reserved for the BBC commentator, who, very bad-naturedly, contemptuously criticised Andre Agassi for not removing his hat when receiving his Wimbledon trophy.

One wonders if the snipe was a condescension at an American winning the title - a British boy would know better, of course.
