I WAS taken by your illustration to the article 'Rotten to the core' (Inside Story, 11 April) showing British personalities equivalent to those embroiled in the Italian scandal. It's comforting to know that in reality none of our politicians will ever be compromised in a similar way - never will a political group receive a sum of, for example, pounds 19m and then refuse to divulge its source.
