TO FATHERS circumcised as children who argue that they have no practical experience of life with a foreskin ('Common Procedures: Circumcision', Review, 24 January), I can only repeat what my paediatrician told me: namely that millions of women, who also have no practical experience but who have to teach their sons the rudiments of personal hygiene, seem nevertheless to have managed quite well.
