MAY I remind Jonathan Glancey ('Slaves to the Cd factor', Review, 24 January) that it was a different German wunderwagen that probably inspired Saab to produce the '99 Turbo' - if not the 'countless imitators'. The BMW 2002 Turbo became Europe's first production turbo in September 1973.
