I WAS delighted to see such intelligent and detailed comment on children's videos, in Callum Murray's 'Animation' column (Review, 21 November). But as the author of the Postman Pat series, I hoped to see more about the writers who dream up these characters. I am grateful to the animators and film-makers who bring wider fame to my stories, but it all begins in a writer's imagination. I'm an ardent fan of Pingu. I'd still like to know who writes it]
