I WAS interested to see in Vivien Goldsmith's column that the Bradford & Bingley is offering cheap mortgages on repossessed homes. Did you know that they have a policy of making an extra 1 per cent surcharge on mortgagees such as myself who have to rent out their homes and live elsewhere in order to pay the mortgage?
