CONTRARY to your report ("Welcome to Wall Street-on-Sea", 22 November), the Jersey Evening Post did not ignore the call - contained in the Edwards Report on offshore finance centre regulation - for the establishment of a new financial crimes unit. We reported it, on the front page, two weeks before the publication of the Edwards Report.
