Letter: Britain should take a lead on Burma

I WISH TO thank your paper for keeping alive the plight of Aung San Suu Kyi. She embodies all that is beautiful and good in the country.

Burma is, alas, not high on the agendas of governments and world media. Only if there is bloodshed, and the world's economy and stability is threatened will there by any concerted effort to help Burma. And they DO need all the help they can get.
