Letter: Building a suite
From Ms Mary North
Sir: The construction industry has always been a repository of many talents. John Walsh's column (Section Two, 22 February) reminds me that the builder who renovated our derelict house in 1971 was an ex-professional violinist.
When the ground floor lighting circuit was complete, Keith fetched his violin from its home in the lorry cab, and we celebrated the grand switch- on with his performance of the Chaconne from Bach's Suite in D minor for unaccompanied violin.
Yours sincerely,
Mary North
