IN HER otherwise excellent article ('How that battle for Bart's was won', 14 February), Judy Jones perpetuates the government/Tomlinson canard that the hospital serves a resident population of only 5,000 City dwellers. This is nonsense; Bart's also serves Islington (population approximately 160,000) and a good deal of Hackney as well.
