WHAT prompted you to publish a photograph of a man carrying his dying wife through the streets of Calcutta? Images of skeletal children and bereaved parents - generally non-white - are part of a dubious peepshow. This photograph is a crass example - suffering and sexuality are combined in an image that is an affront to human dignity.
