YOUR report "Tories 'want civil service unions ban' ", (22 October) quoted union membership in the Foreign Office "as low as 17 per cent". The Diplomatic Service Trade Union Side is made up of four Civil Service unions. The average figure for membership is, in fact, over 50 per cent and growing.
