The bewilderment of your critic asking: "What was it with yellow in 1982?" (Review, 2 November) in respect of the early years of Channel 4 News, can be solved by noting that yellow can be used for colour separation overlay projections, used in all news bulletins. Also, Carol "Spooky" Vorderman has an IQ that I, for one, envy. Were we being given standard male prejudice against intelligent women?
