YOUR article "Where the living is easy", (Review, 19 November) gives the impression that the widely quoted 1988 Quality of Life survey was compiled byStrathclyde University. In fact, the survey was carried out by a research team from the University of Glasgow, one of whose members subsequently moved to Strathclyde University.
