IN response to Jack Hughes' piece in Cries and Whispers (1 August), we would like to place on record the BBC's commitment to safety on 999. The inquiry into the death of the stuntman Tip Tipping found that the BBC team had carried out every safety precaution. Safety is paramount. No corners have been cut, nor will they be.
