HAVING read 'Bestiary' on 9 October I believe I can answer the question put to Parliament: 'Who put the Dang in the Dang-A-Lang-A-Ding-Dong?' It was, I suspect, the American group Ministry. The vocals of their recording 'Jesus Built My Hotrod', released on Sire Records in 1991, are based around phrases such as 'I gotta ding-a-ding-dang my dang-a- long-ling-long'.
