Letter: Diana was more harmed than harming. Leave her alone

HAS AN WILSON forgotten the details of Diana's life (23 August)? Her mother left her at a tender age; she married a man in love with someone else, marrying into a family with little understanding of how it is for a child in those circumstances; and because of her own unfortunate experience, she did not wish to do the same to her sons. She had no choice, a divorce was forced on her. The harm done to Diana far exceeds any she could possibly have done to others.

Diana was able to stay with her sons long enough for them to be able to form their own opinions. These they will voice when the time comes. Until then, I do not think anyone should sit in judgement, do you?
