ACCORDING to William Leith, ('It's a Funny Business', Review, 20 September), he once watched a 20-second television trailer of our comedy Second Thoughts and decided, on that basis alone, to dismiss the whole series.
After his exhaustive study, he thinks Second Thoughts is bland and unfunny. Other critics call it 'a thoroughly modern saga' with 'fresh lines', 'polished', 'civilised', 'a hilarious winner'.
We strongly object to Second Thoughts being rubbished by someone who has never watched an episode.
