Sir: Lesley Gerard ("Why top dons are the business", 2 March) writes about the decision to name an Oxford college after Kellogg, the cornflakes manufacturer.

She might be interested to learn that the college is known locally as "Cornflake College", or even as "Korpus Krispie".
