Letter: F-thoughts

C. Cliff

AS A MILL-WORKER in the late 1960s and early 1970s, I swore like a trooper, in keeping with my work-mates. Now I am a professional graduate, managing a charity in inner-city Leeds, but old habits die hard and I still resort to the F-word, and others, when things get fraught. I'm middle-class now - does that make me a poseur?
