"THE ... works of Edward Gorey are finally being published in Britain. Not before time," writes Ian Irvine ("The ghastly world of Ogdred Weary", Review, 29 November). Oh dear. I published Edward Gorey when I was a director of Constable & Co in the late 1950s or early 1960s - at the moment I can't find my copy. Just to put the record straight.
