The Press Standards Board of Finance (Pressbof) has not 'made it clear that Lord McGregor's contract will not be renewed' when it ends in December. We are not 'looking for a successor' and do not regard Lord McGregor as 'politically untenable'. As Chairman of the Press Complaints Commission he has the full confidence of our Directors.
