Sir: You say in the Diary (4 November) that the columnist Taki must be dreaming when he claims in the Spectator that he landed at Orly exactly 35 years ago, because it didn't exist until 1961. Well, it was certainly there in 1952 when I stepped out of the plane to marry my French wife in Paris.
