Sir: Peter Sallis asks (Letters, 11 March) what legitimacy Turkey can have as a peace-keeper following her 'intervention' in Cyprus in 1974. Surely the fact that not a single Turkish Cypriot life has been endangered by a Greek in Cyprus for the past 20 years is a legitimate reason.
