Sir: Hollywood's chutzpah in claiming ownership of certain words is nothing new (Miles Kington; 'Bloodthirsty beasts on the loose - and dinosaurs as well', 6 July).
In 1947, the studio Warner Brothers tried to sue the Marx Brothers for using the word 'Casablanca' in the titles of their film A Night in Casablanca.
The Marxes responded by threatening to sue Warner for using the word 'Brothers' in their name.
