Letter: Honour among judges

Sir: As a knock-about common law hack, I scratched my wig at the Diary's reference (5 November) on Oxford Crown Court to 'mirth among their lordships'. Did this mean such hilarity had extended to the Royal Courts of Justice? Or have I been wrong all these years in addressing the Oxford bench with the words 'Your Honour'?

Yours faithfully,

CHRISTOPHER FRAZER
