Letter: Hot under the collar

Sir: I seem to have managed perfectly well over the past couple of months without wearing a jacket. I find that three trouser pockets are quite adequate for a wallet, pen, comb and keys.

I do, however, wish that some acceptable alternative could be found for the clerical collar - it can get very hot under the collar in a heat wave.
