Letter: Information technology failures in modern business
Sir: Tim Kelsey (8 July) is not the first to draw a distinction between a 'computer consultant' and an 'expert'. The first is to blame for all of society's information processing woes, and the second saw it coming all along.
Of course, the solution is to hire the latter in preference to the former. Easy, really.
I suspect that these individuals are, however manifestations of one and the same.
Yours,
PHIL PAYNE
