Sir: I wonder if anyone else feels as distressed as I do at the sight of the No 19 bus going down London's King's Road painted yellow and maroon and with the word 'Kentish' written in enormous letters on its side.

What was wrong with that marvellous crimson of the traditional London buses? As for Kentish, we aren't even in Kent.
