Sir: Good to see Tony Blair speak up for family values. One thing intrigues me. The Labour Party leader has sprinkled recent speeches with liberal references to 'kids' as opposed to the middle English 'children'. Does one refer to his own offspring as kids or children, or are they, as one from Italy or Islington might say, 'Bambini'?
