Sir: It seems a shame that we should be considering a debate between two centrist politicians, rendered anodyne by MandelSound and Spin Doctrine.
We should have a TV debate between "Chubby" Soames and the Beast of Bolsover ... You wouldn't need a Lib-Dem participant at all - they'd "win" the debate by default.
