Sir: Researchers at Durham University ('Left-handed bowlers likely to die younger', 13 February) appear to believe that left-arm bowlers are invariably left-handed in other things. Anyone who has played cricket knows this is not true.

There are many left-arm bowlers who write with their right hand, and vice versa.
