Sir: To illustrate Granada Television's 'strength in Liverpool', David Liddiment (letter, 11 March) claims that the company has now 'more people working everyday on Merseyside than at any earlier time'. Perhaps, but most of these people work on This Morning - a national programme for ITV's national audience - that leaves no imprint on the local community.
