WELL DONE, Brian Cathcart, to remind Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad about British military help to Malaysia in her struggle against Communist insurgents in the Fifties ('When the British fought and won in Malaysia', 6 March). But it is regrettable that no mention was made of perhaps the only Victoria Cross awarded in the war: to Ram Bahadur Limbu, a Gurkha.
