Sir: Labour looks for ways to increase the number of women in Parliament ('Labour parity vow may put men on 'back seat' ', 21 April) from its current level below 10 per cent, and Anthony Bevins leads his story on a potential threat to male Labour MPs.
Perhaps it is a generation of male political editors we should be seeking to wipe out, until we reach the 50 per cent target?
Yours sincerely,
ANGELA EAGLE
MP for Wallasey (Lab)
House of Commons
London, SW1
21 April
